Big Slugger is a hybrid saw propelled vehicle designed by Dr. Fetus to serve as a mobile Meat Boy destroying system. Unlike Little Slugger, Big Slugger is not a bipedal tank; while it could "walk" in a limited fashion on the tips of the runners carrying the two saws, it mainly drove with them flat. After the cinematic confrontation between Meat Boy and Manic Manipulator in the clinic, Punished Squirrel ran across a defeated Manic. Frightened, hurt and angry, Manic sensed Punished Squirrel's hatred of Dr. Fetus and let himself be used as a conduit by Punished Squirrel to hijack Big Slugger.
