Chasing spider silk threads through the dappled sun of the forest canopy just waking from the long winter's nap, rosy maple moth kittens are friendly and playful and a brilliant flash of color after the long and dark of winter.
If you want to play with them, bring a lantern nearby and they will chase the light and shadow across the darkened forest trees. Their tiny wings will flutter around letting them take flight for short distances amongst the spring buds and blossoms. Listen closely and you might hear them purr!
